Comments: Malah Fan, I know well what it's like to stare at a blank piece of paper or a computer screen waiting for inspiration. I worked for a newspaper for 14 1/2 years, and I learned there are really only so many ways to tell people about an event or meeting before you repeat yourself. Lol A lot of times I would type what I would have liked to see in print and it took the pressure off so that I could write the real article.

Comments: I liked the blog too, Kevin. And so true! Especially the part where everyone is a critic and tell you how to do your job better......uh huh. Just like skating, writing is an art and it is not easy work, it is hard work. If you are talented, it is still hard work and everyone is a critic. What I say to those amateurs is.....if you think you can do better, try it. You'll quit in one day, LOL. Alina and Nicole, I am missing AWT!

Comments: Truer words were never spoken, CKS. Sigh. Alina has asked for support periodically and it doesn't take much money and very little effort to get some books to help sustain the site. But, as a wise person once told me, it's always the very few who carry the huge load for the many, in any group and that is a fact. Sigh.
Comments: Me too. But I understand the dilemma of spending a lot of time and effort doing something you love, that other people love, but that doesn't produce income. There comes a point where the artist must choose where and how to spend their precious limited commodity of TIME, and Alina and Nicole are at that place. There has to be a way to monetize this blog in order to make it possible to continue, even on a weekly/semi-monthly/monthly basis. Kickstarter, GoFundMe, IndieGoGo campaigns....a WePay button for subscribers...but then again, if regular subscribers aren't going to purchase the books that make this blog possible, why would they donate to sustain it? The arts don't always pay (I say that someone who has worked in the arts for most of my life, so I know whereof I speak), but artists have the same bills as everyone else. Time is all anyone really has to spend, and how much more time can we expect Alina and Nicole to donate to US for our entertainment without any compensation? How many subscribers out there would work a part-time job that requires special skill and talent and the expense of supplies (computer and website maintenance) for five years for free? And yet when you read this blog and don't support Alina's other work with your dollars, that what you are doing. We've all been getting much more than we've been paying for for a a long time now-- almost 5 years. So don't be surprised if this blog goes away for lack of support (not for lack of interest, but lack of SUPPORT for the ARTISTS who create it). /rant
The cliffhangers were all awesome, BTW. I really hope that get their resolutions, but I completely understand if we don't.

Comments: While I am saddened by the news that AWT is going on hiatus, I am grateful for the work Alina and Nicole have invested, even when a favorite character (Marley, in case you couldn't guess) wasn't written as I would have preferred. I have high hopes for AWT's return to celebrate 50 years.
I am one of those who would gladly accept a reduced schedule or who would contribute via Kickstarter. Personally, I'd be happier if AWT switched to eBooks but I realize Proctor & Gamble would have to agree to that.
That said, I was very happy with the events of Thursday's episode. Cory reminds me a lot of Perry and Ryan and Jenna. I hope he has a chance to find his own Lorna, whoever she may be.
