Oh that is wonderful news!
Hope you and your family are well.
I leave the next installment in your(and Nicole's)capable hands because nothing I could come up with will match up to your great storytelling. Just do me a teensy favor.....bring Grant back, whole and healthy, to Sarah and Daisy! Please! Have Lila break down and tell Sarah the truth. I want my GraS to have SOME happiness. If I have a choice between Marley in a body bag and GraS being happy----it's a no brainer! GraS all the way!

Grant turned toward Daisy and picked her up and said softly, "Yes, Princess?"
Daisy pouted, "Do we get to see Marley today?"
Grant looked at Sarah and then turned toward Daisy. "I'm afraid not, Peanut. Marley has gone away for a long time."
Daisy turned toward Sarah. "Mommy? Will she be away for my dance recital?"
Sarah touched Daisy's cheek gently and then, too choked for words, nodded her head and then turned toward the washing machine.
Grant set Daisy down, who ran back to her tea set, to finish setting it up for her animal friends.
Grant placed his hands on Sarah's shoulders.
"Love, you had to run out of there, you had no choice. If anyone had seen you kneeling over Marley, they would have assumed you had done the deed."
Sarah turned back to Grant, wiping her eyes and then hugged him fiercely, her face leaving more tear marks on his clean shirt. "But, don't you see, Grant......when I found her like that......when I knelt in her blood......I was just making sure that she was dead. I didn't care who had done it, just that it was done and we were free of her." Sarah pushed back and stared in Grant's face. "Grant, what if someone saw me there? What if......."

Sarah quickly placed the bloody jeans in the washing machine and placed a dozen Tide pods inside, too. As the water gushed inside the appliance, Sarah started breathing slower and turned around.......right into Grant's inquisitive face.

Iris shot up in bed, her heart racing as she climbed out of her nightmare! She turned to find that Russ had already left the bed and she didn't hear any signs of stirring downstairs.
She pulled on her Belgium Lace vanilla robe and walked down the steps into the kitchen area. Hot coffee brewing and a box of Dunkin Donuts were on the counter. Iris smiled, all warm inside. She did love Russ, so very much. Thank goodness she didn't let her first instincts to kill Marley take over her psyche.
She sat down to enjoy Russ's breakfast surprise for her.
She unrolled the "Bay City Times".........and to her amazement the front page shouted out the breaking news................Marley was murdered! :!devil:

Meanwhile, on the other side of town, Iris sits down to a freshly-brewed cup of Colombian coffee and reaches for the newspaper and the half-eaten donut Russ left behind when he received the call about Marley.

She bit into the confection, enjoying the chocolatey goodness of the brownie bites. She paused, reflecting for a moment about the top story in the Bay City Herald when the realization hit her. She'd just eaten the remaining half of the second doctored donut she had prepared in case the first one didn't do the job.

With growing horror -- and her last breath -- Iris called out the name of the only man she'd loved, "Daddy...," and then went to sleep to wake no more.

Another clue is found by Marley's body......a half eaten Brownie Batter donut.......which adds more suspects to the list of "Who killed crazy eyes Marley".

LOL, Kev, you would just love those donuts. Trouble is, they are 400 calories each! So, I pick and choose maybe once or twice a week and go with the one I want to enjoy. I'll bring in donuts for my colleagues, too, spread the joy a bit and it keeps the pounds away from me, too. There's a Krispy Kreme and Starbucks nearby, too, but I rarely go into Starbucks unless I get the lemon pound cake (to die for). Not crazy about Krispy Kreme at all.
