A couple of comments: When it comes to Marley, I think a paraphrase of a quote from Jessica Rabbit applies -- "I'm not a beyotch, I'm just written that way." I keep hoping that redemption for Marley is coming.

Likewise, I have enjoyed the years that Carl was a man redeemed by Rachel's love and who had at least the grudging respect of Rachel's kids. I remember a time, when Amanda was portrayed by Christine Tucci, that Carl and Amanda were at least civil to each other.

Malah, I'm glad you're coming around regarding Donna. :) While I still prefer Donna to Iris, I believe Iris is being set up by Carl. Is this a vendetta by Carl against all that is related to Mac? After all, Mac loved Jamie and Matt as his own. I'd love it if it turned out that Rachel and Iris are working together to find out what's going on.

Now, for the question I've been thinking about. When more than one actor portrayed a character, which actor do you imagine when reading episodes of AWT? Some, like Matt and Donna are easy -- Matt Crane and Anna Stuart, simply because they played the roles longest. Others aren't as simple.

For me, I rarely think of Marley as anyone but Ellen Wheeler, and Anne Heche for Vicky, when she's mentioned. I have nothing against Jensen Buchanan, but I don't think of her as Marley or Vicky, and didn't even when the show was still on the air.

Jamie and Lorna? Russell Todd and Alicia Coppola

Iris? Carmen Duncan, simply because Beverlee McKinsey was before I started watching AW.

Peter Love? John Hutton

Cecile? Nancy Frangione

Amanda? I'd love to say Christine Tucci, who played a more mature Amanda; unfortunately, I see Amanda as immature and insecure and that brings to mind the Amanda who returned home in 1986 for her debutante ball, portrayed by Sandra Ferguson

Grant? Mark Pinter, though Dack Rambo was my favorite Grant

What about everyone else?

Even if Marley is manipulating Sarah, she does speak some truth. There is a reason why the man was married 4 times. The * * * he put Vicky through, keeping Amanda in a wheelchair and sleeping with Lorna, manipulating and blackmailing Cindy who was mentally disturbed. He may not have done any malice towards Marley, but he did CHEAT on her, and instead of ending it right there when she was released from the mental institution, he carried on and played house with her and the girls, while lusting after Sarah. They might not have had * * *, but it definitely was emotional * * *. Yes, Marley probably is manipulating Sarah (though I didn't vote for it), but Sarah had better watch herself. Take cues not only from Marley, but grandaunt Amanda.

Oh, that beyotch Marley is definitely manipulating Sarah. She will do anything and everything to destroy Grant and Sarah and she wants Daisy for herself, so what better waty to do it than to destroy GraS? I loathe that beyotch. Funny, I am accepting Donna more and hating Marley. When did that happen? LOL

Elizabeth is such a pistol! She is as manipulative as Charlie is, LOL, just a little more naïve. CharLiz is going to be fun to see unfold!

Thank you Alina and Nicole. Another wonderful episode. Have a great weekend.

Frankie tries to wrap her mind around Charlie's latest stunt, Cory and Elizabeth fight Rachel and Carl to remain in Bay City, Amanda needs a favor from Morgan, Lorna is forced to continue her charade, and Marley compares Grant to... Jake?

When did Lorna get her memory back? Was it in episode 229 or was it earlier than that?

Also, it doesn't matter how Lorna got her head injury. Carl is evil, despite me hoping and praying that he's not evil, he is. I can only hope that they kill him off soon and when Rachel inevitably has her nervous breakdown, all her kids are there for her. Such a shame really, Charles Keating and Victoria Wyndham had such nice chemistry and I enjoyed his redemption story. But alas, it seems that CarRac is just as dead as MacRac is now. I'll just have to deal.

I just want to throw something out there...

In reference to her slipping during her escape attempt, Lorna said to Jamie, "I presume that’s when I hit my head and lost my memory."

The keyword there is "presume" so there could be another entire aspect to the story that Lorna herself doesn't even know.

LOL, Alina, how right you are about Iris!
And you are also right about the age of consent in Switzerland, so Lorna didn't do anything illegal, both were consenting adults and I bet Cory loved it, LOL. As a matter of fact, the twist in this story isn't that Jorna will have to deal with Carl....it's that they will have to deal with the fall out over Cory. Jamie may accept it, but I bet no one else in Bay City does...well...except for Frankie and maybe not even Frankie because I think she will flip about CharLiz.

Danielle - The age of consent is 16 in Switzerland.

Janie - How would Grant being Eduardo's long-lost nephew be a thorn in Chase's side?

Derek - I'm glad things are clearer now (I'm always afraid the story only makes sense in my own head)

Malah - Has Iris ever listened to anyone ever?

Thanks for commenting, everyone, keep 'em coming!

Except that Grant and Spencer aren't Cuban, they are Irish so it would never work.

Well, it looks like my hope has just been destroyed and Carl is now the villain in this story. Such a shame. All of that redemption down the drain. Ryan, Perry and Jenna would be devastated. I really had hope that he could be a hero, but that's over with.

Jamie might be forgiving, but lets not forget, what Lorna did is statutory rape. She's a rapist now even if it was the only way she could survive, but there is no way that stigma is going away. Then again, Josh on AMC was a rapist (statutory also) and that didn't affect him.
