I also voted for Kirkland and Jazz to get together. I was actually smiling at their interchange at the wedding.

Grant and Chase bonding a bit over Lila??? Who would have thought? I know there are those who think of Chase as a villain, but I think that, other than his vendetta against Carl, Chase is as honest as they come. Hard to believe that of a politician. Lol

Amazee Dayzee, I agree with your assessment of where the story of Marley is headed. So many possible suspects -- Grant, Sarah, Dennis, Olivia, Iris, Jamie, Lorna . . . Do I need to go on? I don't think it's anything against Ellen Wheeler, exactly, but I do believe the character has been written into a corner masquerading as a vicious circle that always ends in insanity for the character. The character deserves better than she's been getting for the past couple of years.

You know, I am beginning to think that the writers have it in for Marley and it is driving me insane. Do they have a grudge against Ellen Wheeler or something? Seriously:

Exhibit A: They keep on piling misery on top of her. First with Grant not having the balls to break it off with her so he and Sarah could have a legit relationship from the get-go, and it looks like Dennis and Olivia are gonna get together.

Exhibit B: Nobody seems to want to write a redemption story for her. Grant got one through Sarah and Donna got one through Matt. Even Jeanne who was an interloper for Matt and Donna got redemption through Dean.

Exhibit C: She doesn't have a man. Since the writers are going for Dennis/Olivia and Grant/Sarah, that doesn't leave anybody for her. Especially since Kevin/Lila and Morgan/Amanda are in the card,

Exhibit D: None of her family are there for her. The girls couldn't get away from her fast enough. Kirkland barely interacts with anybody and Steven probably still holds her mental illness against her.

Exhibit E: They are ruining her more and more. Marley's mental illnesses were dealt with and she was happy and healthy at the end of AW and even on ATWT when she arrived for Jake and Molly's wedding. Why do they feel the need to drive her insane again? Since nobody will help her. It just seems to be a way to demonize her more.

All in all, I can't understand WHY she has to have the same story lines over and over again: Coming in second best to a love interest, going insane and being abandoned by her family. Donna won't even give her a second thought while she is busy investigating Carl. She has no one. And it drives me crazy as she is one of the characters that does deserve to truly be happy.

I voted for Kirkland and Jazz to become an item. I want them to have an old fashioned romance where they actually don’t have * * * until they are married. Seriously. And I want that for Lila, too. An old fashioned romance with a knight in shining armor. Someone new to the canvas. A girl and boy meet, girl and boy fight, girl and boy can’t stand each other. girl and boy then fight their attraction, girl and boy almost kiss, circumstances pull girl and boy apart, misunderstandings loom large until girl heroically saves boy’s life and finally, finally, kiss in a romantic setting. I want Jazz to like the guy first though, so there’s no animosity between her and the guy, which sets Lila off even more, LOL. Besides, Jazz and Kirkland need to have their own story.

LOL, loved Dennis and Olivia’s conversation, so soapy!!!!

Rachel and Elizabeth’s conversation made me sad for Rachel. No matter what she does, her kids just smack her down, don’t they? She can’t win for losing.

What do I think should happen next? I seriously want Olivia and Lorna to become BFF’s and I am not kidding. I think they would make great friends and Lorna and Jamie may just be the ones to bring Olivia and Dennis back together…….and help protect her from the maniac known as Beyotch Marley, LOL.

Hmmmm, what are Matt and Donna going to uncover next?

Oh Kirkland, next time, just keep it in your pants, would you? I hope you treat Jazz as a lady. She may be your redemption, yet.

Thanks, Kevin, about agreeing that Lila needs a knight in shining armor in her life. I think Bay City needs more integration and I would like to see a Jewish family, Indian/Hindu family and maybe build on GQ’s family and Jen’s other relatives.

So what did Donna and Matt discover? I have three theories:

1. Lorna's accident was no accident, and Carl had the doctor perform Stefano DiMera Brain Manipulation Technique #37 to give Lorna amnesia; or

2. Marley Love Hudson hasn't been herself because she's really not Marley! Instead it's really Justine Kirkland Harrison who's had plastic surgery to look like Marley so that she could spend some quality time with Grant; or

3. The doctor discovered he really could save 15% or more by switching to Geico, only he was killed before he could make the switch.

I have no idea what Donna and Matt have found, but I am willing to believe it'll beat any of my theories. Lol

I like how Lila is a friend to several men, but Malah is right -- it's time she had a romance of her own. It is time Lila meets a man who overlooks her past and treats her as the lady she truly is.

As for Rachel and Jamie, I don't believe that Rachel is as totally in Carl's corner as it appears. She has got to know that everything is not adding up, and that Jamie is right about Carl taking Lorna by force because Jamie made Rachel choose between Carl and her kids. That said, I'd like to beat some sense into Jamie. He may not like that Rachel is taking Carl's side but she is his mother and he needs to respect her. I miss Ada because she'd straighten Jamie out!

I was watching YouTube clips of Another World the other day. A few things that grabbed my attention:

In 1995 Amanda (Christine Tucci) and Carl were getting along.

I remembered why Ellen Wheeler will always be my favorite Marley. I enjoyed watching Anne Heche as both Marley and Vicky in clips from 1989. Anna Stuart as Donna, always beautiful and a force to be reckoned with in scenes with Tom Eplin.

One last thing: You may notice I'm not hiding behind "GiveMeDonnaAnyDay" anymore. Frankly, my real name is easier to remember and easier to type. Lol
