To be quite honest, not a big fan of Eduardo and Alice. I liked Eduardo and Felicia and Lucas and Alice. I wanted to see them last a lot more longer before Felicia and Lucas inevitable got back together. I get it, they are a supercouple and share two kids and three grandchildren together. But some time apart would have done Felicia and Lucas a bit more good. Felicia and Lucas have been married two times (1991 to 1992 and 2010 to 2013), so I wanted to see Felicia with someone else before we got marriage number three.
Now we know that Dennis not only does not like being a father, but he can’t stand his granddaughter either. That’s charming of you Dennis, especially since Daisy adores you. Now the two of them are trapped together on some island and it seems like Iris is the one behind the kidnapping since she and Olivia are working together. I really hope this ends any chance of a Dolivia pairing. I preferred Dennis with Marley because I was so sure he was gonna be her redemption. Now its Donna. I would also just love it if Sam came back to town to pick up the pieces after Olivia gets caught out. Anything to see that snot-nosed brat Amanda’s head explode.

And FINALLY, Rachel gave Jamie the chewing out that he so richly deserved. Oh my God, me and Malah Fan actually agree on something! Hell must be freezing over! But yes, Jamie pretty much did treat Rachel like trash. Rachel was right about her loving Jamie the best as he was her first child and Amanda hated it and lashed out at Rachel, but I’m not sure about Matt. Elizabeth I could see and Cory probably not. Jamie helped make Rachel the woman she was, along with Mac. And she wanted to save Carl like they saved her. I get that. She feels that if her love isn’t enough to save Carl then she’ll be afraid that would cheapen the love she had with Mac but it wouldn’t. You married him three times (1975 to 1979, 1980 to 1981, 1983 to 1986, 1987 to 1989). I wish that SOMEONE would see that from her point of view, but I also wish that someone would make her see that her and Mac’s love will never be minimized.
But back to Jamie, Rachel is RIGHT. Jamie put his flavor on the week on a pedestal and constantly ignored Rachel or lashed out at her. Anything that Alice did, Jamie was OK with. That one I agreed whole-heartedly. If Alice did all of the things Rachel did, Jamie would bend over backwards to make it alright and then snap at Rachel if she brought it up. Rachel called the cops on Alice after she helped her ex-husband’s nephew die and Jamie threw a fit about it. Nevermind that her grandchildren and Mac’s great-granddaughter were in trouble for helping Gregory die. And Rachel is right about Spencer. Jamie hated Carl but Spencer was in league with him and Jamie seemed to gloss right over that. The only parts I disagree with is that Rachel knew what was happening when Lorna was kidnapped and Carl was sacrificing Spencer.
In closing though, Rachel made quite a lot of good points about Jamie disrespecting his mother. Even if he doesn’t admit it, I’m sure that sometimes he wishes his EX-stepmother was his real mother.
