Comments: Rachel is once again right. Jamie and Amanda did betray Rachel. Jamie with his overlooking everybody else’s flaws and Amanda pulling this stunt. Did I mention how much I HATE Amanda now? Because I really do. Jamie and Amanda can buzz off. I wish she was strong enough to kick them out of her life the first time around. But Donna can’t really tell Rachel to back off from her own son. Don’t forget Donna, you couldn’t function without Michael while he was alive. But I just love the point that Donna had about Rachel smothering Jamie. It doesn’t make Jamie’s betrayal and deferring to Alice anymore OK, but Rachel wanted Jamie to be her rock, when Jamie needed her and when she couldn’t, rather then tell Rachel, he went to Alice, despite the fact that she was his EX-stepmother.
Although Vicky didn’t use Jamie. She loved him. They fell apart because of her one-night-stand with Jake, her subsequent lies and not telling Jamie there was a chance that Jake was Steven’s father. Of course, with how Steven is acting, who needs a DNA test. Kirkland acts more like Grant then he knows, so there is no way Ryan is his father either. I’m not contesting that Lorna was redeemed by love, but its the fact that Jamie always tears down Rachel and props Lorna. I hope that Matt still decides to stand by Rachel and that despite Donna’s fears, Matt doesn’t become Jamie Mk II.

Comments: I am so glad that Allie is giving Amanda the same kind of hell that Amanda is giving Rachel. What goes around comes around Amanda, and I am relishing every moment. Also Rachel, Carl did not snap. What he did was horrible and he never kidnapped Matt or Amanda for their roles in trying to break you up. He went after Lorna because he couldn’t stand that his student had gotten an in into his family. If Carl didn’t have to resort to kidnapping with Matt and Amanda, then why would he have to kidnap Lorna? He could have just whisked you off instead. And Rachel is right, Jamie puts EVERYBODY but his mother on a pedestal. That’s what I have been saying all of this time. Also, Amanda doesn’t give a damn about her father’s company, she just wants to stick it to Rachel.
At least Marley is trying to stand by Sarah but she’s dead wrong about Grant being behind this. Marley is thinking about her sister’s experiences with Grant. However, she should know that Grant has changed. No longer does he pull stupid stunts for himself, he pulls stupid stunts for Sarah. And trust me, this stunt IS stupid. Marley unknowingly hits the nail on the head. I am begging the soap Gods that this is part of her redemption. But she does have to get over herself. You don’t register on Grant’s radar anymore. Just go back and focus on trying to defeat Iris before she sets you up. However, Marley’s confession that she wishes that Dennis did set it up tells me all I need to know, that she isn’t a part of this. Thank God. Now please, write this woman a redemption story. You did it for Sarah, you did it for Donna, it’s Marley’s turn now.

Comments: Jorna does have a point on some things such as Rachel trying to undercut Carl’s flaws, but Jamie DOES put other women on pedestals while he is tearing down his mother. Case in point is Alice, whose husband was involved in much of the same * * * that Carl and Lucas were involved in, and he sanctioned all of Grant’s attempts to either steal Kirkland and/or get rid of Vicky. But I guess because the saint of Bay City forgives Spencer for everything, then I guess Jamie can as well, despite the fact that his son tried to steal Kirkland from him. I wish that Jamie would at least acknowledge putting Alice on a pedestal or at least Alice would. When Rachel told the cops Alice helped in Gregory’s suicide, Jamie reamed at her. All hail patron saint Alice Harrison. Not.
I wonder if the “he” in Dennis and Olivia’s story is Reginald Love or Peter Love. Not sure why any of them would kidnap Dennis, Olivia and their granddaughter, except if one of them were obsessed with Marley. Reginald only raised her for two years before faking his death and running off with Mary/Marissa and Scott to Paraguay. Peter seemingly didn’t give a damn about Marley, but both of them have forays into kidnapping. Unless the “he” is a heavy of Iris who is still trying to frame Marley. Would the writers PLEASE write her a good redemption story already?
Kevin told Lila that Amanda orchestrated her break-up with her ex-brother-in-law Lila. I hope that Lila gives Amanda hell for what she did. Amanda is becoming one of my most hated characters. Are we sure this chick is the spawn of MacRac? Could she have been replaced with a pod version by the compound or one of Mac’s enemies? Amanda was never this much of a beyotch at all. I would love for Sam to come back to town and get involved with Olivia, and then see Amanda’s head explode.

Comments: Well, Alina, I never pay much attention to polls, political or otherwise. I am strictly on Rachel's side. I did understand Donna's point of view, but Jorna are me off, big time! Rachel is the BEST soap character ever created and Jamie has NEVER given her a break and Lorna needs to keep her big trap shut. As for Donna, she is looking out for her husband, so can't really complain too much. This proves the strength of a character like Rachel. She has a liver transplant for soap's sake and STILL gets dissed and put upon by other characters. Why? Because she is that type of strong character, much like Reva was on Guiding Light. Only a strong character can withstand garbage thrown at him/her by other lesser characters. And in my book, Jamie, Lorna and Donna are way down on the totem pole, LOL.
Rachel rules!!!!!!

Comments: Ouch. Not a lot of Rachel supporters taking the polls. Rachel has always been my favorite soap character, but she has been undercutting her arguments by painting Carl as the victim of a great conspiracy. She can love him and accept his flaws without believing everything he does is right. That was what Mac and Rachel did for each other. Having said that, I hope there is some old school Rachel coming our way. Rachel takes the long view when it comes to fixing problems. Amanda and Donna should not count her out just yet. Thanks for sharing the poll results Alina!!

Comments: Rachel can’t catch a break from anyone, can she? That loathesome Amanda kicked her while she is down. Jorna are still kicking her while she is down. I do understand Donna’s fear, believe it or not, but she is kicking her while she is down. Everyone keeps kicking Rachel, but , like the Phoenix she is, she always, always, always rises from the ashes. Best soap character ever. By the way, Jorna can throw all the pity parties that they want, I am going to Rachel’s, LOL.
Beyotch Marley never lets up trying to ruin everyone’s lives and ruin everyone’s loves. I wish someone would run her through with a red hot poker and dump her in quicksand, just to make certain she is dead. Grant DID fake his death, but I simply will not believe this * * *. He would NEVER take Daisy away from Sarah, never! That beyotch has a lot of nerve saying that * * *.
I have to give Kevin some credit here. He told Lila about that loathesome Amanda and what she did. He gets some brownie points.
So, Olivia and Dennis and Daisy were kidnapped? Who on earth could have done this? The compound? Peter Love? Some other nefarious villain? A new villain? Curioser and curioser.
Another good read! Thanks Alina and Nicole!

Comments: Actually, you and I agree on quite a few things, but because we are on opposite ends regarding Beyotch Marley, it doesn't seem like it, LOL.
Oh, Dolivia can (and in my opinion should) still happen. Lots of love stories involving super couples always involve angst and kidnappings and that fine line between love and hate, etc. etc. I could see lots of anger between Dennis and Olivia....but lots of bonding, too. And, I believe he does love Daisy, he is just not used to this situation. Who doesn't want to run away from kids or responsibilities, from time to time? Dennis may not win sainthood, but I do believe he will be there for Sarah and Daisy and quite frankly, will become closer to Olivia rather than father apart from her. Take that Beyotch Marley!
Oh I simply love Edal! Felicia and Lucas belong together(although Felicia probably could do better! But Lucas can't)---Angel and the Badman! Love the ying and yang!
I loved your speech about Jamie and Rachel. Brava!
